M.B. Cottrell

A Texas native, M. B. Cottrell studied at the University of Dallas before moving to Scotland to earn her Masters in English Literature at the University of Edinburgh in 2023. M.B. Cottrell wrote her dissertation on Jane Austen and the relationships between sisters in the novels: Sense and Sensibility, Pride and Prejudice, and Persuasion. Her favorite Jane Austen novel is, by far, Persuasion! She currently lives in Colorado and keeps busy by being the best aunt ever and writing non-stop.

 

M. B.'s first love was reading, but once she figured out how to put the fantasy worlds she daydreamed about in class everyday onto paper, writing took over much of her time. It took years to craft the world of The Weavers Archive and draft her first book, but, as with all things, practice makes you better. Now, five worlds live in her mind, each with many stories that she can't wait to tell.
